I've got a host of shows leading up to the new year... including a wonderful new NSAI writer round I am hosting one Friday every month at my favourite Toronto venue -- The Now Lounge. 2006 dates are October 20, November 24 and ... the big Christmas show - December 15. Don't miss a few performances of the "urban cowgirls... the persian Daphne, the Korean Nelly.. and the Rosedale born-half-jewish me... Oct 22 at Free Times and December 14 at Moonshine. In addition to playing lots of writr nights in Nashville in August, I wrote voraciously with some very established Nashville writer/performers... including the president of Ashstreet Music publishing Tom Gould. Three more demos are in the works with Mr. Gagnon, my producer here. I shall be looking at radio release shortly. Hope to make a return trip to Nashville in November. I am also bringing to Toronto Nashville's Marc-Alan Barnette - to perform, coach writers and hold a full day workshop in Toronto. He is a great country blues writer, song coach - and one of the best performers I have seen. Thats week of October 24... Big workshop and performance is Oct 28 ... at Now Lounge.
